The Anti-skid systems with big heritage

Proudly based in the North West of England, we started as a small company with a rich manufacturing history. Originally formed in 2018 to secure the future of the BIMAGRIP® formula, we've since given the world's best anti-skid the longevity it deserves by delivering it to the world.

our history

A legacy built on quality

1987

BIMAGRIP® developed with Bayer AG – a fast-cure, flexible polyurethane anti-slip surface for pedestrian bridges and ramps.

1990

Launch of BIMAGRIP® HD – a high-stress, heavy-duty system designed for vehicular carriageways and bridge decks.

1992

First linkspan resurfaced for Stena Line at Stranraer – beginning of widespread marine adoption.

1997

First new-build applications on RORO and PCTC vessels for Norse Merchant Ferries and Wallenius Lines.

2016

BIMAGRIP® line divested from RS Clare – Beegrip Ltd established as a dedicated brand.

Today

BIMAGRIP® remains a trusted global solution for anti-skid protection across ships, steel decks, linkspans and bridges.

Our purpose

Safe movement everywhere,
without compromise.

Our purpose defines and guides everything we do:

'Safe movement' — It’s why we, and BIMAGRIP® exist. But it’s not just about safety – it’s about what it makes possible: growing communities, connected supply chains, strengthened economies and support for a world that has to keep moving without interruption.

'Everywhere' — A UK-manufactured product, with global reach. In these fast-moving global economies, safety and reliability must scale and move at pace. So we commit to making that happen on-time, wherever it’s needed.

'Without compromise' — Precision and quality are our foundation. In environments where microseconds count, BIMAGRIP® set the standard here 35 years ago, and continues to today.

low drama solutions

Things don’t always go to plan. But when they don’t, we act fast. Our team works in the real world – refits, shutdowns, bad weather and impossible deadlines – and we’re always ready to help. Search our global Marine and Civil applications.

Durability ≠ sustainability

You don’t need a short-term fix – you need a system that lasts. Our focus is on long-term performance with the lowest possible maintenance burden. That’s better for safety, budgets and the planet. Read more in our durability and sustainability policy.

Community

Safe movement relies on interlinked communities working as one. We focus on building those connections: in local manufacturing, on deck, at ports, and across critical infrastructure projects worldwide. We support a global network of local teams who deliver safety through shared standards, trust, and real-world collaboration.
