BIMAGRIP® is designed to perform, but the best results come when the planning is right. Over the years, we’ve seen the difference that a few simple preparations can make — saving time on site, avoiding stress, and ensuring the job gets done properly the first time.
Here are the four things to keep in mind before your project begins:
1. Measure the area properly
It sounds simple, but it makes all the difference. Accurate measurements mean that when installation day comes — when time is critical — you’ll have the right amount of material ready to go. No last-minute scrambles, no delays, just a smooth start.
2. Don’t forget the humble squeegee
We provide squeegees in size 6mm for HD and 8mm for LS. They might not look like much, but they’re essential for spreading BIMAGRIP® evenly. Made from rubber with a sturdy handle, they help achieve the consistent finish that makes all the difference.
3. Plan for lead time
BIMAGRIP® has a 10-day lead time. As soon as you hear about your project, get in touch. That way, we can allocate the right amount of material and ensure there’s enough time for delivery, wherever you’re based.
4. Skills matter — ours and yours
BIMAGRIP® is straightforward to apply, but the right skills make it even easier. Start with our comprehensive infographic [link], and if you’re still not sure, contact us. We’ll make sure you have the guidance and confidence to get the job done right.
In short: measure, equip, plan and skill up. With these four steps in place, your BIMAGRIP® project will run smoothly from start to finish.
