West Ham Stadium Footbridges
The first two bridges were completed in 2023. After two years of performance on this vital connection to the stadium and surrounding areas, we were contacted to finish the remaining bridges due to how well it had performed on match days and every day use for the local commercial areas and parks. Today, BIMAGRIP® covers all 5 bridges.
What we delivered
A superior anti-skid system hammered out in the off-season, ready for kick-off
The concrete ramps and existing coating had become worn and damaged. So a high performance waterproofing and antiskid combined system was required to provide safe transit for every day use whilst also protecting the underlying concrete from water ingress.
Following the successful completion of the first two footbridges in 2023, our application partner was re-engaged to carry out works on the remaining structures. The decision reflected the strong performance and proven durability of the earlier BIMAGRIP® installations.
